Tusker to Kickstart League Against Kakamega Homeboyz

The FKF Premier League 2022/2023 season fixtures have been released, with the reigning champions, Tusker FC, set to begin defending their title against Kakamega Homeboyz. 

The two teams will play on November 19 at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County. 

The last time both teams faced each other was in May 2022, when the Brewers handed Homeboyz a 2-0 defeat.

17-time Kenya Champions Gor Mahia will begin their campaign with a clash against Nzoia Sugar at Nyayo Stadium. 

Other Round One fixtures will see AFC Leopards face Ulinzi Stars at the newly established Ulinzi Sports Complex, Langata. 

The Kasarani Annex will host two games in the Round One fixture Kenya Police vs KCB and Nairobi City Stars vs Bidco. 

Newly revitalised Bandari FC, who are under head coach Anthony Kimani will face Sofapaka at Mbaraki Grounds, Mombasa. 

The Kasarani Stadium will host the fixtures between Talanta FC and Kariobangi Sharks. 

Vihiga Bullets and Mathare United, who were relegated in the nullified season, will face Wazito and Posta Rangers, respectively. 

Kenya's biggest match, the Mashemeji Derby between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopard, will be played on February 4 and May 14 for the first and second leg, respectively.
