
Kenya Simbas hopes of playing in the 2023 Rugby World Cup ended after losing to Portugal in Dubai.
Simbas who played with 14 men, were thrashed by the Portuguese side in the game that ended 85 -0.
This was was the second successive defeat in the qualification tournament having lost the opening match against the USA.
The two defeats mean that the Kenyan men's 15s national team can no longer book a place in the 2023 tournament in France.

In the first half of the match, Portugal ran in five converted tries ending the half with a score of 35-0.
Brian Juma was sent off in the second half after a dangerous tackle on Manuel Cardos Pinto.
The 85-0 defeat is Kenya's biggest ever loss in a Test match, surpassing their 84-12 loss to Namibia in 2006.
Portugal will now take on the USA in a deciding match having won both of their games in Dubai on Friday, November 18.
The winners of the tournament will go into World Cup Pool C alongside Australia, Fiji, Georgia and Wales.
12 changes were made to the squad that lost to the USA for the match against Portugal with 21-year-old Amon Wamalwa given a debut.
