
In the first round, Kenyan tennis sensation Angella Okutoyi was knocked out of the W15 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour.
The 18-year-old could not go past the first round in the tournament held at the Karen Country Club.
Okutoyi succumbed to a defeat against Germans Emily Seibold, losing two sets with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(4).

The tournament also saw her fellow compatriots follow in the same suit.
Stacy Chepkemei, Clair Muthoni, Roselida Asumwa and Cynthia Wanjala could not advance further in the tourney.
Okutoyi made history in the tournament's first edition, where she became the first Kenyan to reach an ITF World Tennis Tour final.
However, she lost to the same opponent, Emily Seibold, on November 24.
In the doubles, the Kenyan duo of Cynthia Wanjala and Roselida Asumwa lost to the American duo of Anushka Ashar and Prisha Vyas.
The Kenyan duo lost both sets 6-1, 6-1. The tournament, which started on November 21, will end on November 27, with prize money of Ksh1.8 million ($15,000) up for grabs.
