
Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan has bought shares at English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth making him a part owner of the club.
In a statement on Tuesday, December 13, the cub announced that American businessman Bill Foley's consortium completed a purchase worth over Ksh15 trillion (£100m).
Bill Foley replaces Bournemouth owner Maxim Demin to become the latest American to invest in English football.

The minority ownership group is led by Wakanda actor, Michael B Jordan, and Nullah Sarker.
The English Premier League club is Jordan's first inroad into professional sports ownership, as he and Sarker will work closely with Foley in areas including global marketing and internationalisation of the club.
According to a statement by the club, Bill and his partners are committed to providing the investment to sustain and build upon AFC Bournemouth’s recent accomplishments.
It was also noted that the new owner has pledged to increase investment in AFC Bournemouth’s first team, the academy, and the fan experience at Vitality Stadium.
He is also expected to immediately commence the construction of a state-of-the-art training centre and increase financial commitment to the AFC Bournemouth women’s team and girls’ teams.
Bill will assume the role of Chairman with immediate effect and is expected to attend the club’s next home match, against Crystal Palace on Saturday, December 31.
After acquiring the Premier League club Bill also purchased a home in the local area.
Bournemouth is positioned 14 in the league table with 16 points in 16 matches played.
