Speaking after the match, Maina - who was making his debut at the global tournament - expressed his excitement about participating in the international games despite losing.
“The game was close but unfortunately, I was not able to win the series but at least I won one game. I was able to play with the best player from Armenia and the experience was good,” he stated.
On her part, Kenya's representative in the Dota 2 games, Magdalene Mumbi, commented on the teams' debut at the Global Esports games stating that they gained the necessary experience for the future.
