Veteran journalist Carol Radull has called on her million followers to help her in her new role as the head of the Sports Technical Committee.
Radull, appointed by Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba on Friday, February 10, announced the strategy on her social media platforms while celebrating a landmark of one million followers on Facebook.
Recognising the love of foreign sports from Kenyans, Radull asked her followers to help reciprocate the same towards Kenyan sports.

“I want to request you to make your presence felt whichever way you can as we work behind the scenes with the relevant bodies to improve the quality of our sports and sport-viewing experiences, and to gain more opportunities for our youth. I ask for your support.
“Whichever sport you love; be it football, rugby, hockey, you name it; make a point of catching a live league game once in a while. Cheer the sports people along and show them that you care.
“If just a fraction of my "Million Times Two" step up; we will be on our way to recovery,” part of her statement read.
Radull emphasised her vision to have the Kenyan leagues well-packed with fans.
The journalist will lead a team that includes Kenyan Javelin thrower Julius Yego, retired footballer Boniface Ambani and former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) vice-president Sammy Tiyoi Shollei, among others.
Radull and her committee members were tasked with developing a framework for monetizing sports and expanding employment opportunities in the sector.
