Carol Radull Uses Her Own Money to Reward Top Kenyan Footballers

At the end of every football season, players and coaches get awards for their achievements throughout the period. 

In the 2021/2022 FKF Premier League Tusker FC were crowned Champions with Head Coach Robert Matano being emerging the coach of the season. 

Sports personality Carol Radull took matters into her own hands and honoured top performers from the 2021/2022 FKF Premier League season.

The renowned journalist who is passionate about sports on August 3, gifted Ksh 10,000 each to the golden glove winner, Patrick Matasi (Tusker FC), golden boot winner Derrick Otanga (KCB) and Tusker FC Head Coach Robert Matano. 

Radull’s act has attracted praise from Kenyans with many suggesting a government job for her. 

The media personality is currently working at Nation Media Group where she hosts a sports show dubbed #TheGamePlan every Monday 10pm.

During the appointment of the Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee and Secretariat Radull in a past statement revealed that she had been approached by officials from the Ministry of Sports who offered her a job at the Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee and Secretariat. 

She noted the call had come from a senior person in government who wanted to know if she would be interested in being part of the new committee.

Radull added that her inquisitive nature saw her left out of appointment. Currently, teams are having their pre-season training ahead of the 2022/2023 FKF Premier League.
