
Americas Major League Soccer (MLS) football club Philadelphia Union is set to complete the signing of Kenyan midfielder Richard Odada.
The 21-year-old CDM is currently with Serbia club Red Star Belgrade awaiting to receive his visa in order to travel to the United States.
The central defensive midfielder will sign for Philadelphia Union in a deal worth over Ksh23 million ($200,000).
Richard Odada who plays was a former AFC Leopards youth side joined the Serbian Club, Red Star Belgrade in 2019 on a 4-year contract.

Odada joined the Serbian Club after showcasing an impressive performance during trials.
The CDM was, however, unable to feature for many games for Red Star and was sent out on loans with Graficar and Metalac.
Other Kenyans playing in the America League include Philip Mayaka (Colorado Rapids) California-born Nabilai Kibunguchy (Minnesota United) and Victor Wanyama (CF Montreal).
Odada follows in the footsteps of his role model Victor Wanyama as he aims to be Kenya's top midfielder.
The 21-year-old made his International debut in September 2021 during the 0-0 draw with Uganda during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
He scored his first international goal against Rwanda during the Harambee Stars final 2022 World Cup qualifiers match at the Nyayo National Stadium in November 2021.
