The Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Wazito FC settled on Charles Odera to help them avoid relegation.
Odera joins from the Administration Police Bomet and replaces Uganda tactician Paul Nkata whose managerial stint comes to an end barely two weeks after the club handed him the role.
According to Wazito, Odera would be deputized by Samuel Odhiambo and Ibrahim Ateng.

"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Charles Odera as our new head coach. Odera joins us from APS Bomet.
"Odera will be assisted by Ibrahim Ateng and Samuel Odhiambo," read part of the statement from the club.
Odhiambo, an ex-Harambee Stars custodian, is expected to double up as the goalkeepers' coach.
Wazito, recently hammered 4-0 by a high-flying Nzoia Sugar side, has not let go of Nkata.
The one-time Bandari FC and Tusker tactician have been handed the technical director role owing to his experience.
Wazito’s chairperson Moses Adagala has backed Odera to succeed at the club, describing him as a zealous individual.
"Odera is a young ambitious coach and we believe that he will deliver. We settled on him after careful consideration and we will give him all the necessary support,” he commented.
However, Odera would have a huge task since Wazito is currently ranked 16th in the 2022/2023 KPL standings with 10 points, six more than the bottom-placed side Vihiga Bullets.
