Kenya Cup: KCB Back in Winning Ways

Defending Champions KCB RFC returned to the top of Kenya Cup standings after thrashing Nondescripts 39-8 at the RFUEA Grounds over the weekend. 

The Bankers have amassed 20 points from four outings, five points ahead of Kabras Sugar who had a weekend off.

Meanwhile, Menengai Oilers who thumped varsity side MMUST 24-10 remained third on the standings after failing to earn a bonus point.

Nakuru based side Top Fry Nakuru sit fourth with nine points despite losing 23-15 at home against Mwamba RFC thus falling further behind in the race for a top-three finish.

On the other hand, Kenya Harlequins are tied with Top Fry Nakuru and are separated by goal difference after drawing 20-20 with Strathmore Leos. The Ngong road side has now played five matches; a win, a draw and three losses.

Another varsity side, Blak Blad are sixth on the log with seven points while Mwamba RFC are seventh after notching their first win this year when they beat Nakuru 23-15.
