Top Managers Who Could Replace Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly has followed in the footsteps of former owner Roman Abramovich to make abrupt changes to the management of the team. 

It took 100 days for Todd Boehly to get rid of Thomas Tuchel following Chelseas’ defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. 

TeamKenya.co.ke takes a look at some of the potential top managers who could replace Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have approached Graham Potter as one of the candidates to replace Thomas Tuchel. 

Further reports noted that Brighton gave Chelsea permission to talk to Graham Potter and Potter is expected to meet Todd Boehly for further discussions. 

Fabrizio also noted that Chelsea was in the process of preparing a contract proposal for Graham Potter. 

Potter has been with the Blues since 2019 when he penned a four-year deal to lead the Seagulls. 

In the current 2022/2023 season Brighton started their campaign Brighton well and are fourth after winning four matches, losing one and drawing one. 

While Potter is the favourite another possible name to coach Chelsea is the former PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino. 

Mauricio Pochettino is currently a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. At PSG Pochettino led the team to the Ligue 1 title.
