
Several schools will square it out for the national crown on the final day of the 2022 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) term two games on Monday, September 12.
Some little known schools overcome all the barriers to reach the final in various disciplines.
Below is the list of schools that have qualified for the finals to be played at Nakuru Boys High school.
Football
Western region champions Ebwali High School will square it out with Nairobi representatives Highway Secondary School in a crunch final.

Ebwali edged Kabarnet Boys high school 1-0 in the semi-final while Highway drew 1-1 with Kisumu Day in regulation time before winning the match 4-2 on penalties.
Kisumu Day and Kabarnet Boys High school will entertain each other in third place-playoffs.
Reigning national champions Wiyeta Girls from Kaplamai will play Dagoretti Mixed who narrowly beat Mwira 1-0 in the semi-final.
Wiyeta Girls Secondary School went into the final as favorites having thrashed Itigo girls 6-0.
Hockey
Friends School Kamusinga (FSK) will play their arch-rivals St. Anthony’s Kitale in the boys hockey final. FSK thrashed St. Georges 6-1 in the semi-final while St. Anthony overcame Chewoyet 3-1.
Rugby 7s
Kakamega County-based Koyonzo High School will battle it out with Butula Secondary School for the national crown in Rugby 7s.
Koyonzo defeated Nduru Boys from Kisii County 24-7 while Butula outclassed Nanyuki High School by similar margins.
Handball
Kimito Secondary School will play Hospital Hill in the boys final. Kimito and Hospital Hill defeated Manyatta Secondary School and Kimilili Boys 25-17 and 27-25 respectively in the semi-finals.
Moi Girls Secondary school Kamusinga will play St. Joseph’s Kitale in Girls final.
Volleyball
Namwela Secondary school will play Cheptil in the Boys final while Kesegon from Rift Valley will face off with reigning national champions Kwanthanze Girls from Eastern region.
