
22-year-old Beatrice Chebet is the stand-out athlete in the women's race at the World Athletics Cross Country Tour in Atapuerca, Spain.
Chebet is Kenya's world 5000m silver medallist and hopes to achieve her first success on Spanish ground.
She has had a successful year so far, having won the 5000m at the African Championships, Commonwealth Games and Wanda Diamond League Final.

Uganda's Peruth Chemutai is her toughest opponent in the 7.81km event set for Sunday, November 11.
Chemutai, who is an Olympic steeplechase champion, will clash with Chebet for the second time in their career after their cross-country duel in Hannut, in February 2022, where the latter won.
The Ugandan will be heading to the race having withdrawn from the steeplechase finals at the 2022 Common Wealth Games.
Chebet will also be joined by fellow Kenyans Lucy Mawia and Purity Chepkirui. Mawia enters the race with wins in Bydgoszcz and Soria, while her counterpart Chepkirui is the world U20 1500m bronze medallist.
Another entrant in the race is Ethiopia's 2018 world U20 3000m silver medalist Meselu Berhe.
Turkey’s Yasemin Can, a winner of seven European titles on the track and cross country, is also another athlete to look out for.
Italy's Nadia Battocletti as well will be featuring at the athletics festival on Sunday, November 13.
