Kenyan footballer Ovella Ochieng has joined Richards Bay FC, making his return to South Africa following his sudden exit from Marumo Gallants back in January 2022.
The news of his transfer was announced by Richards Bay FC on social media, but the contract details were not disclosed.
The 22-year-old was a free agent after parting ways with Township Rollers from Botswana.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of Kenyan International winger Ovella Ochieng. Welcome to Natal Rich BoyZ Family," read a post from the club.
Ovella was training with the club for some months before he was issued a contract.
Richards Bay FC is currently second in the South African Premier Soccer League after a wonderful start to the season.
They are five points shy from league leader Mamelodi Sundowns with 28 points.
The South African side was promoted to the top-tier league this year after winning the National First Division.
Ovella is not new in the South African league having left Gallants back in January without making a single competitive appearance.
He was relieved of his duties at Gallants on August 2022, prompting him to head to FIFA for unlawful dismissal.
The Kenyan international won the case as Gallants were ordered by FIFA to pay him Ksh2.9 million (R428,817).
