Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra revealed on Sunday, January 22, 2023, that he used to call Arsenal his babies since the Red Devils used to always beat them.
Evra played for Manchester United between 2006 and 2014 and managed to make over 200 appearances for the club.
Speaking ahead of the highly awaited Arsenal versus Manchester United Premier League clash scheduled to take place at the Emirates Stadium, Evra disclosed that playing against the Gunners was as easy as a pie.

“Arsenal versus Manchester United. What a game! I always love playing against Arsenal. I respect Arsenal.
“I respect their history, but I used to call them my babies because every time I played against them it was such an easy game and we were always beating them,” he disclosed.
Evra, who enjoyed a successful spell at United under the tutelage of Alex Fergurson added that his former club has the potential to beat the Mikel Arteta-coached side.
“But to be fair, Arsenal is on fire. I think they deserve to win the league. The way they are playing. The way they played the last game against Tottenham.
“They look like a proper team, but one thing that can stop them is Manchester United! And they know this is the only team that can beat them,” stated Evra.
He ended by arguing that if Manchester United overcome Arsenal in Sunday’s fixture, they would be the favorites to win the title.
“If we win against them, I think we need to start also thinking about winning the league because I’m so proud of the team. I am so proud of Ten Hag.
“We are back! We have a structure and discipline. We play for the patch and the fans. Finally, that is why I am not afraid to say Manchester United is back!” ended Evra.
Arsenal would be seeking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League log.
