One Game was left in the charts and Tusker FC certainly didn't disappoint. The Brewers beat Bidco United 2-1 in a thrilling match up held at Utalii Football Field to lift the title. Action Began early on in the match when Bidco's Anthony Simasi blocked Henry Meja's ambitious effort on goal. Bidco yet again couldn't back down as Peter Anyona responded with an attempt on target but fell into the hands of Tusker's keeper, Emery Mvuyekure.

Soon enough in the 23rd minute, the deadlock was finally broken when Eugine Asike won a penalty after being brought down. Aloro took the spot-kick and made a successful conversion to reward his hard-working teammates with an opener. After failing to score in the 31st minute with a good chance, Jimmy Mbugua helped Meja find the back of the net two minutes later to extend the lead for Tuskers, who were very dominant at this point.

The Brewers have now clinched their 12th Premier League Title and also finished the league with 65 points, three more ahead of the bankers (KCB). For Head Coach Matano, this was his third Premier League title in his coaching career having guided Tusker to the title in 2012 during his first stint with the Club. On the players side, young sensation Henry Meja emerged as the club's top scorer with 10 goals as captain Eugene Asike finished with 14 clean sheets.

The hard fought win also saw the Brewers receiving a prize money of Ksh 4Million. “It was a competitive season and we have accomplished our mission. Now we focus on Caf and rebuilding our squad for more titles next season,” said an elated Matano in his post match interview.

In the bottom half of the league, Western Stima were on Wednesday relegated to the National Super League after losing 1-0 to Wazito at ASK Showground in Nakuru. This sees Talanta FC set to take their place come next season after topping the National Super League.
