Former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was captured in a video appearing to punch one of his teammates in the face citing frustrations after he was substituted by his manager Samet Aybaba. In the 56th minute of his side's 1-1 draw at home to Konyaspor on Friday night.

The 31-year-old striker currently plays his football in Turkey for Adana Demirspor after leaving Serie B side Monza in July.

After sitting down on the bench, Balotelli threw his shin pads down and then shouted at a coach and a team-mate before punching the latter.

Although Balotelli's team-mate glared at him, he didn't cause a major scene following the incident.

Balotelli is not new to controversy, he once accidentally set his bathroom on fire after shooting fireworks from the window with his friends when one hit a bath towel and caught fire. He later went ahead to front a firework campaign in Manchester after the incident.

The striker has also struggled with a disciplinary record throughout his career, receiving countless fines and suspensions as a result.

Balotelli’s current club is 14th in the Super Lig table having collected just two points from their opening three matches.
