After a long ailment since the start of the year the family opted to contain the matter by themselves by not publicizing the issue but lately the situation is getting out of hand and are calling for prayers and help from the general public as their father was a national icon both as a player and as a head coach.

Ayimba is state needs specialized attention as the doctors say he should be moved to Kenyatta hospital where he can gain the specialized treatment but before that the family is required to offset a bill of 2.2 million ksh before they could facilitate his move.

The family therefore appeals to the public and entire sporting fraternity to come to their rescue of offsetting the heavy hospital bill that accumulated when Ayimba was receiving treatment at the hospital.
