Former Sofapaka midfielder Wisdom Naya is in need of urgent treatment to save his left leg from being amputated.

The 19 year old has had to cut short his career after suffering from a tumor that is now threatening his life.

Naya, a graduate of St Anthony Boys in Kitale joined Sofapaka in 2019 after completing his secondary school education.

He's entitled to undergo chemotherapy sessions as from next week and each session will last for three days costing Kshs 55,000/- and he can't afford that much since he's clubless at the moment.

He featured for the national youth team against Nigeria in the Copa Coca Cola in 2018 and was voted the Most Valuable Player.

He was later to join Sofapaka but he picked a career threatening injury at the late last year and initial scans indicated he had suffered torn thigh muscles.
