Kenya's representatives in the CAF Champions League, TuskerFC have been relegated to the CAF Confederation Cup after they were eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Egypt’s Zamalek FC.

A 4-0 drubbing at the Borg el Arab stadium in Alexandria meant that the Kenyan champions lost 5-0 on aggregate, having succumbed to a 1-0 home loss on October 16.
Patrick Matasi, chosen for the first time in Tusker colours since 2018 had a night to forget as his error gifted Ibrahim Obama the opener in the 10th minute when he failed to gather a freekick, dropping the ball in the path of Obama who slotted home the opener. Another costly error gifted the homeside the second goal in the 18th minute when Seifeddine Jaziri nodded home an Ahmed Mustafa cross.
The Brewers never threatened on the night and could barely hold possession, perhaps that was the difference between the two sides who recently claimed league titles in their respective lands after a long time.

Tusker came back better midway second half and started brighter with the introduction of John Njuguna giving them life in attack. The former Ulinzi man won two freekicks in succession but both were fruitless.
Njuguna also had a shot saved by the keeper while he supplied Deogracius Ojok with another ball which he curled over the upright.
Zamalek introduced their experienced starman Mahmoud Abdelrazek Fadlallah commonly known as Shikabala and his impact was immediately felt.

Upon introduction, Shikabala spotted  Achraf Bencharki who scored into an empty net after Matasi fluffed his lines.
A minute later, Shikabala started a build up which was cooly finished by Basem Morsy.
Tusker will now shift focus to the final round of qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup proper.
