He might have left Anfield seven years ago but Luis Suarez still has roots in Liverpool. His stint at the club from 2011-2014 was full of memories and when he came back for the second time in a competitive fixture, he lost again this time with Atletico Madrid.

On this day, Suarez watched helplessly as an inspired Liverpool side tore apart the galacticos and this well might ended Barca’s supremacy in Europe.
Liverpool hosted Atletico Madrid on November 3 in the return match of their Group B champions League match and the Reds once again reigned supreme in this encounter, winning 2-0 with Suarez also unable to help that much.

Suarez left Liverpool for a big transfer to Barcelona in 2014, and he is now with Atletico, and returned to Anfield for Wednesday evening’s Champions League encounter.
It seems the Uruguay international was keen to leave with a souvenir, perhaps getting some shirts for his children as it was spotted by several fans on Twitter.
Suarez was a great player for Liverpool, and it’s clear he’s still held in high regard by Reds supporters.
