Arsenal FC has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E20.1 following its Premier League game against Manchester City FC on Saturday, January 1.

Arsenal are being accused of failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 59th minute and the club has until Friday, January 7, to respond.

Arsenal will be handed a fine for the way they handled themselves against Manchester City during the heart-breaking last gasp defeat by Man City

During the New Year match, Arsenal suffered a 2-1 loss to League leaders Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

It is understood that the incident in question is the moment central defender Gabriel Magalhaes was red-carded after his second yellow card in quick succession.

This relates to the way players reacted to going down to 10 men when Gabriel, who was booked for dissent following the VAR review of Bernardo Silva going down under the challenge of Granit Xhaka a few minutes earlier, picked up a second yellow card for a foul on Jesus.
