Feiswal Mohammed Bamkuu, a young footballer from Lamu has joined French third tier side, La Berrichonne de Châteauroux.
This is the first time in the history of Lamu for a player to get such a chance that Feiswal has received.It has been the youngstars dream to play professional football.
Feisal has broken the barrier as he has been raised in an environment that is faced with various challenges from, poor education, poverty and also lack of facilities to grow talent.
Feiswal was grateful for the chance that is before him and believes he will be able to be successful in his new journey.

He was also keen to thank Umra Omar, who contributed greatly to the arrangement of his move to France.
Umra through a social media post has congratulated Feisal as she wished the midfielder success in his new football journey.
"Congratulations to Feiswal. Super proud of you, may you make Lamu shine even brighter. I look forward to the LamUmoja Football League supporting more talents. This is only the beginning,” the post read.
Through a video Feiswal was seen joining his teammates and taking part in the team's training sessions. The young Kenyan footballer will have the privilege of wearing the highly coveted number 10 jersey.
