Harambee Stars might be out of contention to qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon but they are in camp for five matches that will be played this month.
Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee’s Stars will take on South Sudan on Saturday March 13, 2021 at the Nyayo National Stadium before facing Tanzania on Monday 15th. They will have a second meeting with the Tanzanians on 18th at Kasarani as they look forward to matches against Egypt and Togo on 22nd and 30th March respectively.
The team consisting of local based players kicked off its residential training on Thursday, March 11, 2021, ahead of the upcoming international friendly against South Sudan on Saturday, at the Nyayo Stadium.
According to Ghost, these matches will be used as build-up matches towards the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers that get underway in June 2021.
