Kenyan defender Frank Odhiambo has been unveiled at Swedish top-tier football club Djurgarden.
Odhiambo has been influential for Gor Mahia in both their FKF Premier League and CAF Confederations Club assignments in the past two years.
He flew out to join the club on January 20, 2021 and has now been officially unveiled at the club which was home to Harambee Stars influential forward Michael Olunga.
“It’s a new challenge, and a new opportunity to grow as a player,” Odhiambo said at his unveiling.
“When Michael (Olunga) joined Djurgarden, I became a fan and started following the club. That’s why signing up the contract was an easy decision for me,” he added.

It is from here that he was scouted by Kenya U20 national team coach Stanley Okumbi.

He has also earned call-ups to the U23 national team and the senior Harambee Stars team.
