The 39-year-old AC Milan striker after the match went on and pleaded with Chapron to hand him the ball.
The tussle continued as the officials left the pitch where Zlatan continued to ask for the ball from the official.
"Ref, the ball?" Zlatan asked.
"Wait, I decide," the referee replied.
Ibrahimovic was agitated with the referee as he left the pitch without his deserved match day ball.
"You want to be the boss now. Okay, good. You are the boss. Good for the camera!" Ibrahimovic added.
The French former football referee was also involved in another controversial incident in 2018 where he kicked former Nantes defender Diego Carlos and followed by handing him a red card during a past Ligue 1 match.
After the clip went viral on social media, Chapron received a six-month ban from the French Football Federation and then decided to end his refereeing career.
