Germany goalkeeper and captain, Manuel Neuer, has spoken on what it feels after being drawn against Spain.
The last meeting between the two ended in a 6 - 0 win to Spain in a Nation League match in November 2020.
“We have negative memories, but something like that doesn’t happen to us twice,” Neur noted.
Spain head coach, Luis Enrique, on his part noted that the German side had improved over the years.
“You can see clearly that Germany has improved. They are going through a period of renewal but we are Spain, seventh in the world, and we want to beat everyone in the world," noted Enrique.
Denmark falls in the same group as the current World Cup holders France and their coach Kasper Hjulmand, has pointed out that his side is strong.
“I advise you (France) to also prepare because we have a very good team and we will be ready to fight.”
Belgium are considered favourites in Group F with teams like Canada, Morocco and Croatia. However, their coach, Roberto Martinez, noted that they are in a very demanding group.
If Belgium top the group, it may face Spain or Germany in the last 16 and could be on the same path of the draw as Portugal, England and France.
“A very demanding group, different styles, different ingredients but probably what we need if we want to be ready for this World Cup. And then the draw probably splits — the first four groups have fewer top-10 teams facing each other, then the next four groups are probably final after final, so probably the final could be the least like a final. But that’s how draws work," Belgium coach Roberto Martinez stated.
