Gor Mahia in the last 12 years Gor Mahia have had three local managers and 12 international tacticians. Zedekiah Otieno, commonly known as ‘Zico,’ was Gor Mahia's local head coach that served on permanent basis.
Zico joined Gor Mahia as technical director in February 2010, where he later became the head coach in April 2010 after Gideon Ochieng' was relieved of his duties by management.
In his first season, Otieno convinced the Green Army supporters that he was the right pick as they finished second two points behind Ulinzi who were the league winners.

However, in 2011 it was not all smooth for him as Gor finished 4th in the league. During the same period, Zico was appointed as Interim Harambee Stars coach.
The Green Army fans accused Zico of being distracted by the National team job and due to poor results, he was fired by K’Ogalo in 2011.
Currently, Zico is KCB’s head coach after undergoing coaching training in Germany back in 2019.
After Zico the only other local acquired manager was John Bobby Ogolla who was on interim basis after Gor sacked their Camerounian coach Anaba Awono.
Ogolla was K’Ogalo’s interim manager for several matches before Gor announced Croatian Zdravko Logarusic was drafted as full-time coach
Gor Mahia took back Zico in 2014, where he was given the assistant duties to the then head coach Bobby Williamson.
On Tuesday, July 5 Gor Mahia announced the departure of Andreas Spier who had been hired in January 2022. Before Spier Gor had other foreign managers including Mark Harrison, Vaz Pinto, Roberto Oliveira and Roberto Oliveira.
Other international managers to coach Gor in that period also include British coach Hassan Oktay, Dylan Kerr, Brazilian José Marcelo, Frank Nuttall, Bobby Williamson.
