
Celebrated football commentator Peter Drury’s has included Harambee Stars former Captain Victor Wanyama on his list of the top three African players in the premier league.
Drury stated that Wanyama is among the best African players that he has seen play in the Premier League.
Drury who was speaking to Eric Njiru mentioned Salah, Drogba and Wanyama as his top three African stars.

“It's hard to have this list without Mohammed Salah... there have been very few players in the Premier League strikers as powerful as Didier Drogba... Wanyama was absolutely fantastic as well, I have mentioned him because of his wonder goal for Tottenham against Liverpool,” Drury stated.
The goal came at a crucial moment as Spurs were eager to get back into the match after being one goal down against the Reds.
Wanyama scored the equalizer with only 10 minutes to the final whistle, barely two minutes after coming on as a substitute.
After that match, Wanyama revealed that it was one of the best goals he has ever scored in his career as a footballer.
“I didn’t have time to think much before taking that shot. It was one of the best goals I have ever scored.
“I just reacted before the Liverpool players. I thought I'd just let it go because the ball was bouncing and I didn't want to think too much. And I just let it fly,” Wanyama stated then.
Currently, Wanyama who has retired from international football plays in the United States for Major League Soccer club CF Montréal.
