Chelsea new recruit, Omari Hutchinson, wrote an emotional farewell message to Arsenal fans after joining their London rivals on Saturday, July 16.
The 18-year-old attacker joined the Thomas Tuchel coached side on Saturday due to limited playing opportunities at Arsenal. Omari played an instrumental role in Arsenal Under-23 side last season helping them finish third behind Manchester United and Westham United.
Omari also made a few first team appearances last season. Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, included him in the squad that lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round clash. He also featured 10 times in Arteta’s match day squads last season.

Omari who joined the Gunners from Charlton Athletic in 2015 took to social media to appreciate his Arsenal coaches, teammates and staff for the role they played in his career.
“It is time to say goodbye. My experience with Arsenal has been a fantastic and memorable one. I will always remember my time here and the beautiful journey it has taken me on. This will be one to remember and never to forget.
"Arsenal made me feel most welcomed and respected, so huge thank you to all the staff and coaches and my teammates. It's been a real pleasure,” read his Twitter statement.
The talented youngster - who registered 16 assists and 17 goals for the Arsenal academy sides since the start of the 2019/2020 season - ended his Twitter post by thanking Arsenal fans for the love and support.

“Lastly, a colossal thank you to all the Arsenal fans who have supported and shown me love. Words cannot describe how I value, respect and love you all!” he stated.
Omari recently made his senior debut with the Jamaican national team. He featured in the Reggae Boyz friendly match against Catalonia in May.
The Hale End Academy product will be hoping to get more playing opportunities at Chelsea. At Arsenal, it would have been difficult for Omari to break into the first team considering the number of talented wingers that Arteta currently has at his disposal.
England international Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Nicholas Pepe and new signing Fabio Viera can all play in that wing position.
