Unlike in the past when two schools would proceed to the national showpiece, only one team will get a chance to gauge themselves against other representatives from different corners of the country this year.
The national games are scheduled to take place from Thursday, September 8 to 13 at Nakuru High School.
Apart from football, other sports that are involved in the term two games include basketball, volleyball, as well as Rugby 15s and 7s.
Teams which will be successful at the national tournament will be selected to represent Kenya in the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) games slated for September 14 to 24 in Arusha, Tanzania.
