FC Barcelona will wear jerseys featuring the logo of popular singer Drake in their El Clasico match against Real Madrid on Sunday, October 6, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Barcelona has a partnership with Spotify and will celebrate the four-time Grammy award winner for being the first artist to surpass 50 billion streams on Spotify.

“So, on October 16, instead of seeing the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service logo on the front of the Barça jersey, those watching the game against Real Madrid will see the silhouette of an owl - the logo of the Canadian singer’s brand.
“Spotify has given this privileged space on the jersey as part of the framework of the partnership with the Club, just one of the actions that both brands are putting into place to offer innovative experiences for football fans, as well as helping to reach new audiences through music’” part of the statement read.
On normal match days, the Barca jersey usually has Spotify’s service logo on the front.
It was also announced that this type of exchange on the jersey will happen on other occasions as the season progresses.
Drake himself also posted on his Instagram page, holding the matchday jersey.
The El Clasico derby will be an important match for both teams as they are currently tied on 22 points, with Barcelona on top with a better goal difference.
