
Lang'ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwour popularly known as Jalang'o is set to represent Kenya at the 2022 East African Parliamentary Games to be staged in South Sudan later this year.
Jalang'o, who is a first term MP announced that he will be part of the Kenyan basketball squad.
“Getting ready for the East African Parliamentary Games! I play basketball as a guard.

“Fitness ndio bado iko mbaya but a few games and training will get me on track,” read a statement Jalango.
The 39-year-old defeated Nixon Korir, who has also graced the games in the past to clinch the Lang'ata Constituency seat in the recently held general elections.
Odiwour who broke into the limelight through the Papa Shirandula Show garnered 38,948 while Korir registered 36,836 votes.
The former radio presenter will join a list of legislators who have participated in the games in the previous editions.
Other MPs who will represent Kenya at the games include Senate majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Nyali representative Mohamed Ali, and Webuye West legislator Daniel Wanyama.
Cheruiyot will captain the Kenyan football team famously known as “ Bunge FC” while Wanyama is expected to skipper the volleyball team.
Some of the countries that will take part at the games which are held annually include Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.
