He has captained Bunge FC to the East African Parliamentary Games on several occasions.

In November 2021, Harambee Stars sent Kipchumba a cheeky message stating that they would like to secure his services following his spectacular free kick in Bunge FC’s 2-1 loss to Vitambe FC. The match was held at the Nyayo National Stadium.

In December the same year, Murkomen netted a hat-trick against Ugandan legislators to help Bunge FC top the group at the East African games held in Tanzania.

Esther Passaris

Esther Passaris plays golf and she recently took part in the FIDA-Kenya Charity Golf Tournament alongside the likes of Chief Justice Martha Koome.

Another high profile event that Passaris has taken part is the Crown Paints Golf tournament staged in the coastal town of Nyali on August 27 this year.

Aaron Cheruiyot

Aaron Cheruiyot, the leader of majority at the senate is the current captain of Bunge FC.

At Bunge FC, Cheruiyot plays as a forward, precisely a striker.

Apart from Bunge FC, the Arsenal FC fan also plays for Leysa FC - a side that features in the Wazee Premier League.

Bunge FC is tutored by former Harambee Stars defender George Sunguti.

Dan Wanyama

Dan Wanyama Sitati, the current member of parliament for Webuye West constituency is a volleyball player.

He is the captain of the Kenyan legislators volleyball team. Prior to becoming an MP, Wanyama was the captain of the Kenya National Men’s Volleyball team.

At the national team, Wanyama played alongside the likes of respected coach David Lung’aho.

Vincent Musyoka
