Manchester City first choice goalkeeper Ederson has retained the Premier League Golden Glove award after a Successful season with the English giants.

It’s the second-successive season the Brazilian has landed the coveted prize given to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets.

He has managed 18 clean sheets in 35 games. His nearest challenger, Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy, is on 16 with one match of the season remaining.

Last season, Ederson became the first City keeper since Joe Hart in 2014/15 to win the award when he kept 16 clean sheets.

Manchester City’s defence has been integral to the Blues' latest title success and with 18 clean sheets this season, Ederson  who has also registered an assist has been a vital part of the back line.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has already bettered his clean-sheet total of 16 from last season to secure this seasons award, and in the process has made 63 saves, had 1,198 touches of the ball, and played over 900 passes.

He joined City in the summer of 2017 and has already won three Premier League titles, helping transform the club's playing style in the process.

Ever since his arrival back in 2017 the 27 year old goalkeeper has been very impressive in his performance on the pitch and thus making him become Pep Guardiola's first choice.
