Speaking to the press, an ardent Arsenal fan disclosed that they had been engaging in acts of kindness across various counties.

“As Arsenal fans, we are here for charity. This is what we continue doing every day. This is what we have done for the last four years. Today we are at the Mitembe location, where we have come to build houses for people who are less privileged in society.

“We have done the distribution of clothing and foodstuffs at the chief's place for the low people in the society. And now we have come to this particular home to do a building of this nature and we are going to another homestead to do another building.

“We call upon each and every person who is ready to support us, as we venture into helping the society,” he stated.

They also urged supporters of rival clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City to assist poor individuals during the Christmas season.

A middle-aged woman, who benefitted from the project, thanked the Arsenal supporters for coming to her rescue in times of dire need.

“These people came to my home to help me. I am very thankful to them for the act of kindness,” she ended.
