
National Basketball Association (NBA) suspended 11 players following an altercation during the Detroit Pistons' 121-101 victory over the Orlando Magic.
The match which was played on Thursday, December 29, saw Orlando Magic centre Moritz Wagner receive a two-game ban for pushing Pistons guard Killian Hayes off the court.
Hayes was slapped with a three-match ban for his action as he retaliated by hitting Wagner on the back of the head.
"Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes has been suspended three games without pay, Orlando Magic center Moritz Wagner two games without pay and Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo one game without pay for their roles in an on-court altercation," part of the statement read.

One player from Detroit Pistons and other eight Magic from Magic each were handed a one-game ban.
Hamidou Diallo (Pitson), Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton, Gary Harris, Kevon Harris, Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner, Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr from Magic.
The scuffle happened at a time when Pistons were leading by nine points before Wagner shoved Hayes.
It was followed by Diallo racing in and pushing Wagner from behind with Hayes hitting Wagner who went sprawling into the Pistons' bench.
Eight Magic players received the one-match ban for leaving the bench.
However, the ban will be staggered to ensure Magic have eight players available for their next two games.
