
Athletes from Morocco have received motivation from their federation through prize money for different achievements at the Olympics.
Morocco National Olympic Committee (CNOM) has allocated Ksh24.7 million ($200,000) to athletes who will win gold medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The silver medallists will get Ksh15.5 million ($125,000), while bronze winners will walk away with Ksh9.3 million ($75,000).

If one sets a world record, they qualify to receive Ksh12.3 million ($100,000).
An Olympic record assures one Ksh6.2 million ($50,000).
In September 2022, CNOM launched a scholarship programme to aid athletes who will represent the country in Paris financially.
The scholarships aimed to improve the athletes' preparations for the Olympics by meeting their specific sporting needs.
It was split into three categories - elite A, elite B and elite C - ranking from highest to lowest.
Elite A awards athletes with Ksh113,767.20 ($920), elite B gives athletes Ksh68, 013 ($550) and elite C Ksh39,571 ($320).
