Antonio Conte left his role as Inter Milan manager, three weeks after guiding the club to a first Serie A title in 11 years.

The 51-year-old Italian spent two seasons in charge of Inter and had one year remaining on his contract.

Conte has recently been linked with Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane confirming his departure from the 13-time European champions. The Italian has also been linked with the vacant Tottenham Hotspur job.

Reports in Italy suggest that Inter's owner, the Chinese retail group Suning, are reportedly suffering financial pressure which is expected to lead to cost-cutting at the club and player sales this summer

In February, Jiangsu FC, also owned by Suning, folded just three months after winning their first Chinese Super League title.

Former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and current Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi have both been tipped as potential successors to Conte .
