Al-Ahly has filed a complaint to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) claiming that their Sudanese rivals Hilal flooded their dressing room with sewage water after their Champions League clash over the weekend.
Hilal won the match played on Saturday, February 18, 1-0 thanks to Makabi Lilepo’s superb freekick.
According to the statement released by the record African champions, the incident happened after the match.

“It also did not commit to providing safe and decent means of transportation for our team, as well as flooding the Al-Ahly players’ dressing room with sewage water after the match,” part of the statement from Al-Ahly read.
The Egyptian club also alleged that fireworks were thrown at their players during a training session.
“During training, the only one for our team at the Blue Jewel Stadium last Friday, some Al Hilal fans stormed the stadium.
“And threw fireworks at the players in the presence of the CAF representative, who examined the projectiles and wrote down the incident in his report,” the statement continued.
Moreover, Al-Ahly further informed CAF that some of their players and members of the technical bench were violently attacked by Hilal officials.
The club explained how a Hilal staff used a medical tool to hit one of its players and refused to leave the pitch once the match official issued him a red card.
Al-Ahly has requested CAF to slap Hilal with sanctions, citing their behaviour as unacceptable.
"What happened at Al-Hilal Club stadium last Saturday is a scenario that has been repeated many times before.
"The matter is repeated and exceeds all limits. We await your urgent intervention and the implementation of regulations and laws in order to ensure the success of the CAF competition,” the statement ended.
