The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) unveiled the Independent Electoral Board overseeing the upcoming elections.
Sports Dispute Tribunal earlier declared the previous elections null and void.
During the Annual General Meeting in Nairobi, KRU, ordered to conduct fresh elections within 60 days, set March 24 as the new election date.

Experienced rugby administrator Aggrey Chabeda will lead the new team as the Chair.
Other officials will include Sadik Makii (Kenya Cup clubs representative), Auka Gecheo (Championship clubs representative), Faith Basiye (Women’s rugby representative) and sports lawyer Sarah Ochwada ( KRU Board representative).
KRU Chairman Oduor Gangla highlighted the board's commitment to ensuring the elections are conducted within the parameters given by the SDT.
SDT annulled the election stating that KRU failed to meet certain thresholds and that the elections were marred with irregularities.
With the ruling, KRU officials Moses Ndale (Vice Chair), Ian Mugambi (Secretary), Oscar Mango (Director) and Leslie Mwangale (Director) were forced to vacate their positions.
Ahead of the SDT ruling, the KRU sent a memo calling on Kenyans and other stakeholders to participate in ongoing rugby reforms.
The ongoing reforms are meant to help KRU laws align with the Sports ACT 2023 and the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Kenyans were asked to share their proposals and recommendations on or before the close of business on February 24, 2023.
