Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamaba was ranked as the third best-performing member of President William Ruto’s Cabinet during Kenya Kwanza's first 100 days in office, according to a poll by Infotrak.
The survey released on Tuesday, February 28, was conducted in seven regions in Kenya with over 2,000 respondents being polled.
Eight per cent of the respondents in the poll noted that Namwamba was the best in terms of performance.

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki topped followed by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu at 27 and 12 per cent respectively.
Also ranked, was the Ministry of Sports at fifth position with 47 per cent.
The Namwamba-led ministry had a rating of D which according to the poll requires urgent attention.
According to Infotrak, 452 respondents did not vote for any cabinet secretary as they were convinced that none had stood out to warrant recognition.
"452 failed to give a score to the ministers, they failed to see any of the 22 as a performing minister so they didn’t give any ranking," Infotrak stated.
Since assuming office, Namwamba has seen the return of football in the country with the FIFA suspension lifted as well as Kenya evading a possible ban from the World Athletics.
Recently the CS asked Auditor General Nancy Gathungu to do an audit on past and ongoing sports projects across the country.
