League leaders Tusker maintained their title ambitions despite dropping two valuable points against KCB in an FKF Premier League match played at the Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the draw Tusker increased their points tally at the top of the table to 34 points, while KCB remain third on 30 points with a match in hand.
Both teams started the match on a slow pace but a free kick at the edge of the KCB box by Rodgers Aloro lit up the action.
Henry Mejja missed an opportunity to put the brewers ahead in the second half after he failed to connect from a well put through pass which went off target.
Another free kick at the edge of the banker’s box by Aloro was ably saved by Joseph Okoth in the KCB goal as he tipped the ball over the bar.
The bankers were then reduced to ten men in the 68th minute after Curtis Wekesa was sent off for a second bookable offence.
