Defending champions Gor Mahia have unveiled their squad that will take on City Stars ahead of their first Premier League fixture since the resumption of sporting activities in the country.
Gor Mahia will launch their journey to the top of the FKF Premier League table when they take on Nairobi City Stars at Utalii grounds on Sunday, May 16.
The Kenyan champions were having a bad run when the Betking Premier league was halted 56 days ago and will now want to make amends and chase the leading pack as they are placed seventh on the log with 22 points from 14 matches.
On the other hand, City Stars, who earned promotion to the top tier at the end of last season, will be keen to gain maximum points from Gor Mahia on the if they win the match as they have 20 points from 15 matches.
K’Ogalo will miss the services of star Brazilian striker Wilson Silva Fonseca, and Burundian Jules Ulimwengu who left for for their native country after the government stopped all sporting activities owing to a spike in number of coronavirus cases.
