Margaret has taken part in most road races in Nairobi in the past few years. She played an instrumental role in the launch of the Beyond Zero Half Marathon.
The above marathon raises funds to cater to healthcare-related issues, particularly those that deal with child death, maternal death, and HIV infection.
During the maiden edition of the Beyond Zero Marathon, Margaret managed to complete the 21km race in a time of 3:46.00.
Ex-President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, who was at the finishing line then, congratulated her wife with a hug for achieving the milestone.
