Tottenham Hotspurs star striker Harry Kane has told Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to leave the club in the next summer window transfer after reports stating that he expressed his thoughts on leaving the club in a one on one meeting with club chairman Daniel Levy.
The striker expressed his frustration at the end of last month at a continued inability to achieve his ambition of winning major trophies at Spurs in comments that felt like the first step of an exit strategy.
The England captain is entering the prime of his career and wants to quit his boyhood club as he is still yet to lift any major silverware in his career.
The mercurial striker had repeatedly dropped hints about his frustration over a lack of silverware despite becoming one of the Premier League's most prolific strikers, scoring 165 goals in his 243 appearances for the English Club to sit seventh on the all-time list.
However, he has yet to win a trophy with Tottenham or England. The club's most recent setback came last month when Spurs lost the Carabao Cup Final to City 1-0 at Wembley.
Despite the disappointments from Spurs, Kane's individual performances and overall records have remained strong this entire season. After topping the EPL top scorers chart with 22 goals and 13 assists, only Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski (40) and Barcelona's Lionel Messi (39) have more goal involvements in European top five leagues this season.
Reports have however showcased that Kane would like to feature in the Premier League after his departure from Spurs next season and some giant english clubs such as Manchester duo of City and United and Chelsea have also expressed their interest in signing the 27 year old striker .
