
National Super League side Shabana FC demanded that the Kibera Blast Stars management compensates its fans following the drama at their match.
Through a social media post on February 8, the club disclosed that its fans were mistreated at the Ligi Ndogo Grounds during the match against Kibera Blackstars.
In its statement, Shabana noted they would not wish for any opponent fans to undergo a similar treatment while at their home ground.

“We hereby ask the Kibera Blackstars Team Management to take action which includes, compensating and paying for the medical expenses incurred by our fans and recovering our fan's phones that were taken by Kibera Blackstars fans.
“To our injured fans, we wish you a quick recovery and sincerely apologise for the ordeal you went through,” the club statement read
The club also requested its fans to observe calmness as it follows up with the authorities.
Kibera Blackstars won the match 1-0 ending Shabana’s unbeaten run in the league.
“Yes guys, you gave the first loss to the leader Shabana and you deserve it. Very nice game. Proud of you,” Blackstars stated on their socials after the win.
Shabana Fc tops the NSL table with 25 points five points ahead of Kibera Blackstars who have a game in hand.
Both teams are battling to get promotion to the top tier league FKF Premier League.
