Real Madrid on Sunday, August 22, made an official Ksh 20.6 billion bid for PSG’s Kylian Mbappe. With just days remaining in the European summer transfer window, PSG is yet to respond to their proposal.

The 22-year-old forward had refused to renew his contract with PSG, citing that he wanted to leave the club.

PSG could dig in and refuse to transfer Mbappe this season, but then he could walk for free at the end of his contract next summer. If PSG cashes in now, the club can use those funds to reload, with rumors connecting the French club with Cristiano Ronaldo who is in the last year of his contract with Juventus.

If Mbappe leaves PSG, then he won’t have a chance to play with Lionel Messi and Neymar together on the same field.

The Parisian forward who joined PSG in 2018 from Monaco in a four-year contract deal, has started all three of PSG's Ligue 1 games so far and netted his first goal as they beat Brest 4-2 on Friday, adding to the two assists he registered in the previous matches.

Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti stated that he is not sure if they would get Mbappe on board; however, he is satisfied with his current selection.

“I don't know if he arrives, I don't care what will happen. I have a very good and very strong squad. They give me a lot of happiness. I am focused on that,” stated Ancelotti during a press conference.

“Let's wait these 10 days, and now I am focused on the team that I have,” he concluded.
