FKF Premier League champions Tusker FC have begun strengthening their squad ahead of next season’s assignments.

Tusker, who won the league title on the final day, last week have acquired the services of experienced defender Charles Momanyi from Gor Mahia.

Momanyi quit the former champions citing non payment of his dues stretching to over three months. Momanyi arrives from Gor Mahia and has joined the Brewers on a two year deal.

“I am really happy to be joining Tusker because it is one of the biggest clubs in the country. For me this is another opportunity to show my worth as a player and also challenge myself in a new environment,”

“I am ready for the task ahead. I know the competition will be very stiff but I am ready for it. I come into a good team with good players and I know together we will achieve great success,” Momanyi said.

In Welcoming Momanyi Chairman Dan Aduda said; “We are glad to have within our ranks a defender with great experience like Momanyi. He is going to be a very valuable addition to the team.”

CEO Charles Obiny said; “He is a player who has done well at his previous clubs and his experience will come in handy for us.”

The Brewers are in line to sign Harambee Stars goalkeepers Patrick Matasi and Brian Bwire who recently declined to renew his contract with Kariobangi Sharks. Clyde Senaji of AFC Leopards has also been lined up for recruitment at Tusker.
