
The Kenya national mens volleyball team has been drawn in Pool D of the 2021 CAVB Mens African Nations Championship that is taking place in Kigali, Rwanda.
Wafalme Strikers will face seven-time champions Egypt, Morocco and neighbors Tanzania.
The event started on September 5 and will run until September 16 at the Kigali Arena.
The African Men's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Africa, organized by the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Tunisia, which won its tenth title at the 2019 tournament in Tunis.
The top two teams at the close of this competition will qualify for the 2022 World Championships.
